ARTISTIC ADDRESS at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach Condos

September 1, 2015

Luxury real estate and art are widely interconnected in Miami, but the Art Studio at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach is a first for South Florida. With advice from Miami artist and sculptor Tatiana Blanco, project architect Piero Lissoni conceived a space filled with natural light (open 24/7) where residents of the upcoming development (with residences ranging from $2 to $40 million) can unleash their creative side with all the accoutrements necessary: easels, wall space for canvases, a stone surface for sculpture, a table for jewelry-making and a library of art books for inspiration. “I liked the idea of having a simple and calm space,” says Lissoni, “a quiet room to create.” Or as Blanco puts it: “Many people say, ‘I used to do art, but I don’t have time anymore.’ Having an art studio in your building is like having a gym downstairs. No more excuses.”
