When it comes to Miami’s social scene this time of year, philanthropy most always enters the mix. Case in point, The 20th anniversary gala kickoff for Dress for Success Miami. The charity celebrated two decades of helping underprivileged women find employment opportunities by providing them with professional attire with a cocktail party at The Ritz-Carlton, Miami Beach sales gallery that epitomized what the organization is all about. The style-focused evening featured three different fashion presentations featuring garments and accessories from Max Mara, Sportmax and ‘S Max Mara (as you can probably guess, MM is a major supporter of the DFS cause.) Models strutted on a catwalk that was constructed around the massive model of The Residences and guests enjoyed an array of touches that included everything from holograms to dioramas on the five-star residential project designed by renowned Italian architect Piero Lissoni. Philanthropy, fashion, real estate and good times! As this photograph – and the rest of this issue – proves, Miami’s social season is in full swing. – Michael Muzquiz
