LIVING IN SUNSHINE
The award-winning Italian architect and designer Piero Lissoni and Miami-based architecture firm ADD Inc. have teamed up to create a new residential compound – Lissoni’s first-ever full-scale architectural work in the United States. The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami beach, which launched sales in November, will comprise 111 luxury condominiums and 15 single-family villas and is minutes from Miami’s numerous museums, including Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), as well as world-class golf courses and Bal Harbour’s high-end shopping.
The 126 residences will be set amid 7 acres of gardens and pools and will offer two-to-five bedroom configurations that are available in more than 60 custom-designed Lissoni floor plans, ranging in size from 1,700 to more than 10,000 square feet. All of Lissoni’s sleek, modern layouts emphasize Miami’s natural beauty and yearlong sunshine, many with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, expansive outdoor terraces with full kitchens, and private plunge pools. Indoors, marble-clad bathrooms feature Dornbracht fixtures and open kitchens feature Gaggenau appliances. The residences also have access to a private marina on a waterway leading out to the Atlantic-ideal for boating enthusiasts.
In addition to concierge services, on-site amenities at the privately owned residences include a half-acre rooftop terrace and pool, a mediation garden, a fitness center, a sauna, a screening room, and a private boat that provides Intracoastal and beach access. Prices range from $2 million to $25 million and construction is expected to conclude by winter of 2015. (www.theresidencesmiamibeach.com)
