Construction is moving forward on the Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach at 4701 N. Meridian Ave., at the site of the former Miami Heart Institute. The seven-acre waterfront project comprises 111 condominium units and 15 single-family homes that will be priced from $2 million to more than $40 million. Delivery is expected in 2016 and the project is on schedule, said Lionheart Capital, the developer.

Before Piero Lissoni released his Latina kitchen for Boffi in 1992, Italian kitchens were largely known for their modularity and slick industrial materials, such as steel and lacquered metals or woods. Lissoni further elevated that aesthetic by mixing in hardwoods and stone, and bringing a softer, warmer modernism to cabinetry and countertops.

During the Annual Developers Showcase, Miami’s top properties showed off their luxury amenities like rooftop soccer fields by Paramount Miami World Center or scenic ocean views by The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach.

Ophir Sternberg, founding partner and CEO of Lionheart Capital, said he and a small sales team will be traveling to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong this summer to market the Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach. Chinese buyers have purchased seven units at the Ritz-Carlton Residences on Singer Island, and so far, three units at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach, Sternberg said. “And they want to introduce us to more of their friends who are interested in buying as well,” he added.
